My Story
Eliana pivoted to prioritize circus during the COVID-19 pandemic when she realized the undeniable fact that doing circus brings her the most joy and excitement. When not refining her Cyr wheel or acrobatics technique, Eliana can often be found on the search for a new cafe or trail to explore or cajoling those around her to join in partner acrobatics shenanigans. Eliana has been doing partner acrobatics for over a decade and performing Cyr wheel since 2022.

Eliana is a Massachusetts native. After graduating from Smith College and working as a government relations professional in Washington, DC for five years, she jetted off to Portland, Oregon in 2021 to pursue circus full-time. Eliana co-founded a circus performance company, Constructive Interference, with the other graduates of the Elements Pre-professional Training Company at the Circus Project in Portland. In 2022, Eliana co-produced Constructive Interference’s first full length show, Transatlanticism: A Circus Tribute. The ensemble performers used aerial dance, acrobatics, and circus along with spoken word to incorporate their experiences into a highly physical, deeply personal narrative of how to navigate intimacies of connection that go beyond romantic love.
Eliana currently makes her circus home at the New England Center for Circus Arts in Vermont. Her favorite circus moments are when the artists share their originality with the audience in unexpected ways.
